A small fleet of 17 dinghies took to the estuary for the Annual Commodore's Cruise on Saturday 23rd July. With the tide ebbing and the light breeze on the nose the fleet tacked its way down to Dawlish Warren where they managed to cross the stream and land in 2 distinct groups!
Having devoured the strawberries and cream, the groups came together to enjoy a game of French cricket on the sand with the youngsters in the group showing far more catching skills!
The cruise ended with a gentle run on a flooding tide back to the club.
A great set of photos from the day by Elaine Beer.
