When you visit our website, your IP address, browser and version, operating system and the site you came from are stored in a log file. This information is only used for statistical purposes to help improve this site. Log files do not contain any personal information.

We do not use cookies for collecting personal information and we will not collect any information about you except that required for administration of the web server.

If you send an e-mail message or complete an on-line form which is directed to a club official, we will use your e-mail/postal address and any information you provide to deal with and respond to your query or comments. It will not be used for any other purpose and will not be retained.

We may collect information that you give to us in online surveys, competitions or questionnaires. Whenever we do this we will inform you of what your information will be used for and to whom it will be disclosed. We may share non-personal statistical, or summary information with organisations working in partnership with us, such as the Royal Yachting Association. Membership Application/Renewal Forms . . .

Starcross Yacht Club collects personal information as part of its Membership Application and annual renewal of membership process. This information may be stored in a computer database. Access to this database will be password protected and will be limited to officers of Starcross Yacht Club.

The information stored will only be used to support the administration of the club and will never be divulged to an external organization (i.e. to anyone other than a club member who needs the information in relation to a club activity). We may share non-personal statistical, or summary information with organisations working in partnership with us, such as the Royal Yachting Association.

If you resign from the club or let your membership lapse your personal details will be retained for up to six months. After this period we will only retain your name and the starting date and ending date of your membership for our historical records.
