Thinking of joining SYC?
If you are thinking about becoming a member of Starcross Yacht Club, then why not come down to the club and pay us a visit? The best day to visit is usually on a Sunday race day and the times of races can be found here. If you don't know any existing members then you may like to give the Membership Secretary a ring so you can be shown round the club and introduced to other members and club officers. If you do decide to join, then this would enable existing club members to sign your application as the required "proposer" and "seconder" (if you don't currently know any existing club members). See the Club Contacts page for the name and telephone number of the current membership secretary.
Membership
- Complete an Application Form (forms also available at the club see race times).
- All applications need to be Proposed and seconded by existing members but, as detailed in the previous section, we can usually help with this if you are new to the club or area and don't know any existing members
- Applications will then be displayed in the Club House, and if after seven days no objection has been brought to the general committee, you may use the Club Premises as a Temporary Member until such time as your application has been considered.
