March Working Party

The first of this year's working parties is scheduled for the morning of Saturday March 20th. This one is nominally for club members who race dinghies & cats at SYC but everyone is, of course, very welcome!

The task list looks as though it might include

• shifting the copious amounts of shingle on the slipway area
• moving rocks back against the new sea wall
• fixing/ replacing the broken slab on the slipway
• pushing back soil / grass that has overgrown the edge of the road that leads to the car park 
• changing the light fitting in the members room for something brighter
• any other ideas you may have...

In return for your hard work, the galley team will be providing lunch! Therefore, it would help if you could use the registration option on this page so we know roughly how much food to get in (you can always change your mind and un-register).

With so many tasks on the foreshore, you probably want to bring some wellies with you. If you have space in the back of your car for a wheel barrow, shovel or brush that would be great (but the club has some of these as well).
