Hi Mark

Might I please have (for the hire boat fleet) the following items:
sail bags
Laser battens
the fender
the tiller extension
the dinghy-type ropes

Please let me know when/where a handover would be convenient.

Thanks
Richard Fryer

Hi Richard
Probably easiest if I leave them in the committee room - I'll be dropping them off this Sunday.

So now we are left with ... any of this stuff useful for the new committee boat

[strike]- rooster buoyancy aid - black - great condition - suit 11-15 year old
- various sail bags for dinghy sized sails[/strike]
[strike]- various battens 300-900mm - including an original set of laser battens![/strike]
- 2 teak boxes for port/starboard navigation lights on cabin top or in the shrouds
- brass oil pump for winterising
[strike]- 15L blue fender[/strike]
- anchor trip float - white and blue
- mooring chain with plastic pipe anti-chafe and pickup-up buoy (orange)
- 20'+ of VHF cable
- two hemp ropes (8mm and 10mm) - not sure how long - useful for practising traditional splicing or perhaps smoking!
- various cruising guides to channel ports, Sweden, Denmark and Aland Islands - circa 1996
[strike]- 2m ronstan alloy tiller extension[/strike]
- RS200 blue polycotton cover - needs a coat of fabsil or something similar
- Merlin RS200 polycotton cover - ditto
- Variety of stainless steel wire shrouds, forestays and jib halliards from 505, RS200, RS400, Falmouth Working Boat) - perhaps best thought of as a source of stainless steel wire
[strike]- Gill boots (Aigle style) white/grey - size UK 8/EUR 42 - old but probably worn twice[/strike]
- 1 x childs and [strike]2[/strike] 1 x adult crewfit lifejackets - old but tested ok last year - will need rearming
- pot luck bag of cruiser type ropes - 8-12mm - probably nothing long enough for a halliard or jib/mainsheet - but a few longer bits
- [strike]pot luck bag of dinghy type ropes - <8mm - ditto
- 2 x Merlin spinnakers - one red, one black - not competitive, but in pretty good condition and no holes - OK for practice or cruising
- 1 x RS200 spinnaker - pink - could no longer be classified as a spinnaker - so really just a large piece of floppy pink sailcloth![/strike]

Don't know, I'll ask! Mooring/anchor stuff and cordage perhaps? How thick and long is the mooring chain?

Probably a couple of metres (it attaches underneath the mooring buoy) and strong enough to hold an eight ton cruiser

Richard - I put the items you asked for in the committee room next to the rack of wetsuits
