Sailors with skills equivalent to RYA Youth Sailing Scheme Stage 4 or RYA National Sailing Scheme Levels 2 or 3
Course outline
This course will further develop your RYA Youth Sailing Scheme Stage 4 or RYA National Sailing Scheme Level 2 and 3 sailing skills to enjoy sailing boats with three sails. You will learn how to rig the boat, gybe and recover one type of spinnaker, either conventional or asymmetric, and how to sail the best possible course downwind. By the end of the course you will be confident in handling one type of spinnaker system with a working understanding of the other.
