Juniors - Hub
A British Sailing Pathway Club, RYA-accredited OnBoard Club and an RYA accredited Training Centre, SYC has a thriving Junior and Youth section. This includes the hugely popular Friday evening Junior training sessions, which run from Easter each year and are led by qualified Instructors, Senior Instructors and RYA Level 2 Race Coaches, all of whom are parents and Club member volunteers. There are regularly between 50 and 100 young sailors on the water on a Friday evening, with groups focusing on fun, learning to sail and seamanship, as well as race coaching. The Club also has year-round race coaching, racing, open meetings and regattas.
