Sailors with skills equivalent to RYA Youth Sailing Scheme Stage 3 or 4 or RYA National Sailing Scheme Levels 2 or 3
Course outline
This course will teach you the essentials to begin racing. The course will cover a range of topics including physical and mental preparation, boat preparation and handling, boat speed, teamwork, race strategy and meteorology, tactics as well as the key Racing Rules and getting that all important start right. By the end of the course you will have the confidence, skills and knowledge to take part in club racing in moderate conditions.
