SYC organises 3 races each year for our members only. Two of these are to destinations in Dartmouth and Brixham and members often stay overnight at the destinations and enjoy a meal in a local pub or yacht club. A third race is a triangular race to Teignmouth and the Ore Stone, returning the same evening.

In addition members have been invited to join in other races organised at other clubs on the Exe and each year one of the clubs on the Exe organises the annual Exe Regatta which includes dinghy and yacht races.

Race Dates set for 2025

• Newport Trophy (to the Dart): starting at Exe SWM on Saturday 31 May at 10:00

• Drew Trophy (to Brixham): starting at Exe SWM on Saturday 28th June at 10:00

• Chaos Trophy (Chase Around the Ore Stone and back to Exe SWM): starting at Exe SWM on Saturday 6 September at 10:00

• The Exe Regatta is scheduled for the weekends of 19/20 July and it is expected that a cruiser race will be organised around this time. More details will be provided nearer the time
