John Allen, SYC Training Officer, has responded to members' requests for Club-based adult dinghy training with three new courses, to be delivered during the summer by instructor Duncan West. Duncan will also deliver a Dinghy Instructors' (DI) course in July for older Juniors looking to progress to the next stage in their sailing journey.
These new courses come in addition to the First Aid and VHF Short Range courses already offered by SYC this winter and the three-weekend Day Skipper Theory course currently being delivered by SYC's Jim Carter at Lympstone Sailing Club.
Planning is also underway for RYA Powerboat Level 2 and RYA Safety Boat courses, to be held soon. Please express interest to John Allen, who will answer any questions.
