Duncan West and 15-year-old son Will travelled to Royal Torbay Yacht Club for their first Hornet open event. It was a windy four days: most days had 15 knots of wind, with Thursday to Saturday blowing 25+ knots at times. Big well-done to the team, who won the Wedgwood Trophy, an Endeavour award for the lowest-ranked boat that finished every race. "Considering nine of the 19 boats retired from at least one race and some missed whole days, we were pretty proud of this," said Duncan.
