SYC hosts the dinghy and catamaran racing on the 13th and 14th of July. This year Dougal Scott has stepped in as Principal Race Officer and is determined to re-invigorate the event with great racing. There will be two committee boats to give sailors ideal courses.
Entries are open with a limit of 60 boats – see Sailing/Events. We also host a Scorpion Open as part of the Regatta, which will add to the spectacle.

The prize-giving will be at 15:30 on the 14th at SYC, with prizes presented by Charlie Courtenay, Earl of Devon, together with a raffle giving some very valuable prizes (including a life-jacket and buoyancy aids) donated by Exe Sails. You have to be there to be entered, so don’t miss out. All are welcome, especially all the rescue boat crews, helpers and galley, etc., as well as competitors. A cream tea will be provided.
This event is part of the wider Regatta, which this year for the first time includes sea-rowing, as well as fishing, beach rescue and a cruiser race. See the Regatta website for full details.
Topsham SC are hosting the social this year on the Saturday evening. They have laid on the "Cool About Jazz" band to give background music, and wood-fired Pizza at reasonable prices. Entry is £3, booked in advance. See Topsham's Exe Regatta Party webpage.
