We have bought some pies from Chunk of Devon. These are multiple award-winners, and are excellent.
We currently have Ultimate Steak Pies, Chicken, Leek and Bacon Pies and Homity Pies, with the former currently ready to go in the kitchen freezer. Forum notices will be published on daily menus. Once cooked, pies cannot be refrozen, so we can only cook to order using a galley-counter form. This avoids the need for Galley volunteers to dispose of surplus pies, and enables us to offer really attractive pricing.
Bacon Baps can be prepared much more quickly, as the bacon is pre-cooked. Philippa Greenslade’s excellent home-baked cake is often available as well.
