Following Eloise and Izzy Smith's recent travels to World Championship events, at Lake Garda and Galicia (Spain) respectively, we have news of other SYC Juniors representing the Club this summer at events at home and abroad.
Our best wishes to Jack Solly of SYC, as he crews for Merryn Attridge of Castle Cove SC at the 2024 29er World Championships from 1st to 9th August in Aarhus (Denmark). At its largest ever with 259 boats from 27 nations, this is another major international event with a strong British contingent (see photo above).

eanwhile, our warm congratulations to Amelie Ballantyne (pictured, with trophy) who took first place with her Topper in the Junior Fleet at the Torbay Dinghy Regatta run by RTYC on 27-28 July.
The SYC contingent of Amelie, Anaya, Sebastian and Archie (photo, right) thoroughly enjoyed their weekend of racing on the Bay.
