Following her recent selection for the RYA ILCA 4 Talent Academy and an impressive start to her transition year from the Topper, Amélie has now been awarded the prestigious Performance Academy Sailing Scholarship.
The Performance Academy is one of the UK’s most highly regarded sailing coaching organisations and is part of the Andrew Simpson Foundation. This year, just five sailors from across the UK were selected. The scholarship provides a comprehensive, high-value comprehensive training package and mentoring. Amélie hopes this opportunity will help further her sailing progression as she competes in ILCA events.
Amélie’s dedication and hard work are clearly paying off, and she is absolutely over the moon about what lies ahead across a busy summer of sailing.
We offer Amélie our warmest congratulations.
