WANTED: Laser to buy (or even to borrow for a few outings)

Do you have a Laser at the club that you do not use as much as you would like?

I am looking to buy one (preferably with radial sail and launching trolley) for my teenage child to use - actually I might be looking for 2 as I have 2 children in similar position.  I'm not looking for anything flash as they are a beginner.

They have learnt to sail with Starcross Juniors over the last 2 and a half summers (half because this summer still ongoing!)  It has been excellent and last year we bought them a Topper.

Next season, we plan to sell the Topper and upgrade to a Laser as they have grown quite a lot and they have tried one and loved it. So I thought I'd pop a note on here in case anyone is thinking of selling.

I also thought no harm in asking if anyone has one that they'd be willing to lend  for the last few sessions of Friday night sailing while we are looking for one for next season.

We have a laser stored in our dry garage gathering dust for several years, since COVID started. Bought by us about 9 years ago in June 2016 for our youngster who graduated a couple of years ago and now lives in London.
The hull, deck and foils are all in good but used condition. It has:-
--- Rooster foil bag
--- 3 sails, Full rig, Radial Rig and 4.7 (all with different sail numbers!) together with the appropriate lower mast sections.
--- an "as new" launching trolley bought in 2021 but only used a couple of times .
--- very good top cover.

This is "for sale" It is not currently insured but we could use the space so don't want to lend it.
