Adult Sailing at Starcross Yacht Club

We had had a generous offer from a member of the Club who is a RYA Senior Instructor to run Adult Training sessions at the Club, on the some of the days when Free Sailing is on the Club programme.

At present we have two potential targets in SYC that we are looking at:
• A course based around the RYA Level 2 qualification, which could be for:
o Those who have just joined the club, have limited sailing and need more practice.
o Parents of juniors who want to learn to sail themselves, as well as helping their children on a Friday night.
• A course based the RYA Level 3 qualifications, which could include Day Sailing and/or Seamanship Skills and/or Spinnakers, which could be for:
o Day sailors who go down the Club to just go for a sail themselves or on free sailing days.
o Dinghy cruiser members who want to improve their skills in boat handling.

There will be a cost to this, but at present we are trying to find out the demand and what type is needed, so if interested please contact me via the website.
