There are a number of Windsurfers left in the club racks behind the tender racks that don't appear to have been used in a very long time, and the club has decided to tidy them up and possibly use the space for other things.
Consequently if you do have Windsurfers or Windsurf equipment on the racks you are requested to remove it by the end of February 2020, otherwise it will be removed, recycled or disposed of.
You should also receive an email to the same effect as this post from Sarah Peat and members knowing anyone who they know has equipment on the rack are requested to talk to them just to make sure nobody is unaware of what is happening.
If you have windsurfers you want to place back on the racks, then simply put them to one side for a few weeks and once the racks are clear please let Sarah Peat as membership secretary and Steve Peat as berth marshall know and pay any fees due and you can then put them back.
It is hoped we can salvage some of the unclaimed equipment and either use it as club windsurfers or as paddle boards for juniors or anyone wanting to mess around on the water when there is no wind.
Pls note removal date, per e-mail to membership amended to 15th March, as RYA guidelines indicate we should provide one months notice in respect of abandoned equipment Steve Peat Berth Marshal
