no - not fishing for herons!
While looking at a minor problem with our webcam, Dave Matthews from our webcam suppliers (Electrocam in Exmouth) captured this video of a heron fishing at SYC last night.

We did have a "resident" heron which made a point of occupying the slipway after racing as soon as the slipway was cleared of boats. Not quite tame but getting close to it. Whether this is the same bird or another is a questionable but nevertheless really nice to see.
