In the Absence of an Encouraging Post From the Committee...

Hi All,

Looks like we might be back on the water at the end of March...Hurrah! Longer days, warmer weather and the mice just beginning to leave the nests they made in the sails that were left in boats over lockdown . 

Let's hope the National Satnav doesn't  announce that we should 'make a U-turn as soon as possible' or 'recalculating route' as we travel along Bozzer's 'Roadmap to Recovery'! 

In the meantime, stay safe everybody and see you all soon...'from a distance'.

I guess the committee are awaiting the updated guidance from the RYA so there probably isn't much to say until this has been published.  However, it does look hopeful we will be back on the water soon.

You won't be surprised to hear that it is first item on the agenda for tonight's Sailing Committee meeting.  The staement does look promising - but not entiely clear yet whether we will be bac in the same set of regulations as late summer 2020, or it will be more (or less) restrictive.

I'll post something on the website once we know what we are dealing with.
