Webcam/Broadband

Many thanks to Aidan, Gregor, Robin and Ian. The quality on the webcam looks far better, though it does mean my wife will be able to read my sail number now to check if I really am sailing!
I don't underestimate the time and effort that goes into improving facilities such as these. We are very lucky to have so many talented individuals in the club.

I do need to add a note of warning.  Last year Mary and I were relaxing on an SYC mooring in our little pocket cruiser one friday evening .  While partaking of the evening G&T we were somewhat taken aback by the close passing of one of the Princess Line boats with what we could only surmise was an "over 60's nudist disco" night.  The memories are still vivid - and not in a good way.  Just a warning that the the new webcam capability is going to make those sort of shenanigans very visible.  You have been warned - use with care
