Starcross Regatta Party

Thanks to the organisers for a lovey event.  Nice to have a summer get together, great fun, music, company and food!

I agree Marcia - a lovely relaxed evening with excellent music, food and hydration !
A MASSIVE thank you to Simon Greenslade our Vice Commodore, Robin Charles our Commodore and Keith Wheatley for collectively coordinating and bringing the wknd and party all together . Must convey my and our special thanks to all those who kindly supported the galley over the weekend and the bar during the party . Thanks also to all the safety boat teams over both days and to Sam and Jodie Woolner for supporting the safety cover in their rib too . Special thanks again to Phil Weeks for sorting out the electrics for the evening and to Andy Bartram for erecting the stage and to all those who erected the marque . 
Unquestionably the whole wknd was huge success and I certainly think we’d all support programming the same next year .

Can I just endorse these comments. It was a lovely weekend, marred a little by an over-exuberant wind on Sunday which no doubt prevented us from reaching the 75!
A weekend like this takes a good deal of organising and hard work on the day by volunteers some of whom give up their chance for a sail.
A lovely social occasion, one that I look forward to next year!
