Hi,

if you arrive to go sailing/racing and find that the storm boards are in place, please can you ensure that they are put back in place when you come back in after sailing.

A couple of reasons
- they may have been put in place to reduce the risk of the SYC site flooding in upcoming high tides/high winds
- leaving them stacked by the side of the slipway has some risk (i.e. a trip hazard or worse if poorly stacked or they move over time)

If you confident that there are no high winds / high tide combinations coming up, then you may want to put the storm boards back in their new(ish) holder to the right of the boathouse (as you look from the estuary).

The storm board pins can be left secured in the slipway posts or attached to the clips at the back of the new storm board holders.

The storm boards have now been put back in place ahead of the 4m tide and F9 gusts predicted for tonight/tomorrow for Storm Bram - albeit as there is no east in the predicted wind the risk is pretty minimal.
