Local boat repairs? was created by Phil Maynard
My Wayfarer is leaking! Not a huge amount, and I know that its coming from the centreboard pivot. This require removing the centreboard but that can only be done with the boat on its side or upside down and I'm not up to either of those options. So, can anyone recommend a local boatyard (or other) who could sort it for me please?
I've bought a new mast support to replace the one that went AWOL so can take the boat off site now.

Phil, If you are available on Thursday we could give you some help.
We are a group of mainly retired "gentlefolk" who meet to sort out problems around the club. There is a fair amount of expertise with resepect to boat repairs. We would be so glad to hopefully give some advice about your boat. We tend to arrive about 11.00, be prepared to drink alot of tea. Andy

Thank you for the offer. I will come over on Thursday and we can have a look at the problem and possible solutions, BUT, I need to be back in Teignmouth for Coastwatch by 2.45. Phil
