Hi All,

Winter is now officially upon us and the drysuit has been dragged out of the loft for another year.

What?! You forgot to get that dodgy seal fixed during the Summer?  It seems you are not alone

In the last couple of weeks a couple of Club members have found themselves in the above position and on my recommendation have availed themselves of the services of Rubberman (not a superhero...unless you have a leaking drysuit). This is the link...just so that you don't have to type Rubberman into Google!! [ www.rubberman.co.uk/home.html.] Turnaround is normally two to three days so you can get it back for Sunday if you get your act together on Monday morning.

I have no commercial or other connection with Rubberman but I'm more than happy to pass on this useful contact to other SYC members.

Seconded - used a couple of times. Give him a ring. Very quick turnaround and good service. Not ultra cheap by the time you've paid postage - but good.

Replacing seals and feet is a very straight forward DIY job. It's quite relaxing, especially in a confined space with the glue!

The top of a 2 litre drinks bottle keeps the shape nicely for the wrist or feet. The bottom of a small bucket is a near enough shape for the neck seal.
