The first SYC Open Meeting of the summer 2026 season will take place over the weekend of 23/24 May, when Merlin Rocket sailors from all over the South-West converge on the Club for two days of racing as part of the Merlin Silver Tiller and South West series of meetings held at various clubs throughout the region. Early June will see a two-day meeting for Hurricane multihulls. At the end of July the Club will host ILCA (formerly Laser) and Solo competitors for a day, and at the start of September it is the turn of the Juniors, when we welcome RS Tera sailors from Devon and further afield.
In between these one-class Open Meetings, there will be a weekend's mixed-class dinghy racing at SYC in late June as part of the River Exe Regatta, followed in late August by our ever-popular Junior Regatta, now in its sixth year, with three days of racing and fun for sailors aged 8-18.
